APPOINTED MEMBERS OF THE TASK TEAM OF EASTERN CAPE BOXING COMMISSION

On the basis of recommendations tabled in a meeting held in Bisho on the 19 April 2000. MEC for Sport, Arts and Culture  Mrs. Nosimo 
Balindlela has appointed a Task Team with the following terms of reference.

* Identify the nature and extent of the problem
* Investigate the existing administrative, financial, decision-making and communication systems of the Eastern Cape Boxing Commission
* Investigate the inter/intra relations between the Commissioners, the commission and the licensees, boxers, promoters and sponsors
* Investigate the legal requirements and relationships between the Commission and the Provincial Department of Sport, Recreation, Arts and 
Culture
* Identify policy, administrative and management gaps in relation to the above
* Recommend what and how systems and procedures can be put in place to ensure that the Commission provides effective, efficient, 
accountable and responsible service to all its stakeholders; and
* Recommend an overall intervention strategy by the provincial Government.
